Yasumasa Kuroda

Professor Emeritus of Political Science and former Codirector of the Center for Research on Ethnic Relations, Social Science Research Institute, University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, Yasumasa Kuroda (Ph.D., University of Oregon, 1962) has written extensively on the comparative politics and international relations of Japan and the Middle East. Among his publications are Palestinians Without Palestine (1978), Political Socialization in the Arab States (1987), and Japan in a New World Order (1994). He has coauthored four monographs and several articles on attitudes of Honolulu voters based on a longitudinal sample survey conducted every five years from 1971.
