Ibrahim Aoude
A native of Lebanon, Ibrahim Aoude (Ph.D., University of Hawai`i) chairs the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Hawai`i at Manoa. The author of numerous articles on Hawai`i’s political economy and Middle East politics, he edited Arab Studies Quarterly. Among his recent publications are The Political Economy of Hawai`i (1994), The Ethnic Studies Story: Politics and Social Movements in Hawai`i (1999), and Public Policy and Globalization in Hawai`i (2001).
